Hello Everyone!
It’s been a while! Let’s dive in to where we left off with our sourdough pizza crust. To refresh everyone’s memory…I used the Moon and Magnolia Recipe linked on my Links & Supplies page. This is a freezer friendly pizza dough so that is what I ended up doing the first time. I let it set in the freezer for about a month before unthawing.
Please see my first post for the step by step on how to make your pizza dough. I placed mine in the freezer until I was ready to follow the unthawing instructions below.
Unthawing:
-Place your pizza dough in the fridge for 10-12 hours before baking.
-Once unthawed, Shape your dough!
I went ahead and greased my pan and rolled out my pizza dough with a rolling pin. If you are using a cast iron or stone pan, go ahead and place it in your oven and pre-heat your stove to 500 degrees.
If your pan or skillet is one that needs to preheat in the oven…make room on your counter and flour a good sized portion. Roll your dough out onto your floured surface until you are satisfied with the size. While your oven is preheating, make sure to add all your delicious toppings to your pizza. We made two, one for me and one for my husband. He made a supreme pizza with lots of ‘yummy’ toppings and I made a spinach, ham, and cheese pizza.
Once your oven is preheated, place your pizza in the oven. Set your timer for 10 to 15 minutes or longer if you like a little more crunch. If you’re making two, you might want to cook them separately. The bottom portion of my oven cooks faster than the top so I only use the top tray and had to cook mine one at a time. Thankfully we weren’t full on hangry at this point. Haha!
I forgot to take a picture of mine, but I promise you it was delicious!! Enjoy the picture of my husband’s pizza below. He decided to dig in before I snapped a photo. I will definitely make this recipe again! If you enjoyed following along, click that subscribe button!

All the recipes I have tried so far are listed on my Links & Supplies page as well as any sourdough kitchen appliances and tools that I have used so far. Stayed tuned for what we make next!
Sincerely,
Tiara
